Bluefly Managed Server Leases are for businesses only. Because your lease business, you can claim up to 100% of your lease payments against your business tax. This benefit can substantially reduce the cost of leasing to your business and further enhance the benefit of equipment leasing. Consult your accountant or tax adviser before you commit to a server lease.

Ongoing Benefits - Maintenance 

With most computer server leases, you take the equipment back to the office and, from that point on, you are responsible for it - this includes service and maintenance. Servers are more complex than desktop computers and it requires specialised skills to keep them operating at the peak. A Bluefly Managed Server lease means that, aside from the general benefits of leasing, as a business owner you can feel comfortable in the knowledge that we will be taking care of your server for you. Wrapped up in your leasing cost is server support and maintenance*1. You also receive discount support, not only for the server but also the rest of your computer fleet.

A Bluefly Server Lease provides you with the following:

• A new HP ML series server computer or equivalent 
• Microsoft Windows Small Business Server R2
• Five client access licences (CALs).
• 24 x 7 monitoring from our Network Operations Centre
• Internal HDD backup for system state and critical data
• Mirrored system drives for redundancy
• Microsoft Exchange Server for email and workgroup management
• Up to one hour per month for scheduled maintenance
• Discount rates on all service fees
• Priority support in "system down" scenarios
• Server faxing

Conditions: Additional client licences are available in 5 packs at client expense; Unused scheduled maintenance can be used for client requests for server related tasks; remote support and scheduled maintenance requires access to client broadband connection; server faxing requires client supplied telephone line.

Cost associated with operating and running the server and related services are at the client expense.

A $300 setup fee applies. This covers the server build, customisation and up to one hour on-site installation. Additional on-site time is charged at our standard prevailing rate. Installation does not include workstation customisation or configuration. Workstations must be Windows 200 Professional. Windows XP Professional or Windows Vista Business.
